All data contained within BioShifts v2 are available and embedded within the BioShiftR package and are stored in the R package repository on GitHub (https://github.com/bioshifts/bioshiftR). Geospatial data included in the database are stored externally on Open Science Framework (https://osf.io/tp4hv/overview), with download functions in the R package prompting a local download in order to use the spatial data. A static version of the BioShifts v2 database will be archived on FigShare upon acceptance of this article.
